10 Brilliant Reasons Solution Focused Hypnotherapists LOVE What They Do

smiling orange fruit or a happy hypnotherapist you decideHow do you know when you’ve just met a solution focused hypnotherapist? The smile, the confidence and they way they can’t wait to tell you what they do. They will try and tell you how amazing the brain is…they may draw you pictures.  Don’t worry though, they aren’t mad, they are just loving life because they know they can help so many more people live happy and fulfilled lives.  Here are 10 reasons they love their careers, as told by our friends, colleagues and CPHT graduates.

1: You’ll feel like a superhero, because you change lives every day.  What you do, as a solution focused hypnotherapist, is important; you help people get their lives back on track. By changing their world you are changing the world. You make a positive difference.

2: Your therapy is based around hard evidence that is updated every year. People in the medical profession train for a career as a solution focused hypnotherapist because this is one of the few forms of hypnotherapy that is truly evidence based, has a research programme to support its findings and is  underpinned by the latest findings in neuroscience.

3: You get to choose when and how much you work. You get flexibility and freedom.  No more being fed up with working for other people, doing a job that isn’t important or being stopped from doing what’s right in a job that is important.

4: It is simple.  Solution focused hypnotherapy is a modern form of hypnotherapy that is simple for your clients to understand and because they ‘get it’ they move forward quickly.  Simple means that what seemed like overwhelming issues, for your clients, can be overcome by making consistent small changes.  It makes the impossible, possible.

5: You can work from home.  Although many SF hypnotherapists work in clinics, many also work from a dedicated therapy room in their home.  Quite often their children have moved out and they have space to use, or convert a garage or summerhouse into a therapy room.  Wherever you decide to work, it is up to you.

6: It is safe.  Solution focused hypnotherapy is safe for you and safe for your clients because we don’t use potentially damaging, old fashioned or out of date therapy.  We know that, in order to resolve the past it is NOT necessary to do delve into it. Your clients enjoy it more and, because we explain how the brain works, feel in control and empowered when they are working with you.

7: Variety is the spice of life.  In the morning you might be helping someone who suffers with depression, then a smoker finally kick the habit, a teenager pass their test or a young mum regain her confidence to go back to work. You’ll never be bored because every day is different and you always end the day knowing you’ve made a positive difference.

8: It is fun.  It is no wonder solution focused hypnotherapists love their career; in solution focused hypnotherapy we encourage our clients to enjoy their sessions, laughter is helpful and we can laugh with them.  Our clients look forward to their sessions and feel better after each one.

9: You have control of your career and your finances. Hypnotherapy is currently the fastest growing industry in the UK and solution focused hypnotherapy is recognised as one of the most successful and reputable forms of hypnotherapy that delivers consistent and measurable results for clients.

10: Learning never stops.  Every day we are discovering more about how the brain works and the field of neuroscience based therapies is growing quickly.  Rather than relying on outmoded thinking we find out what the best of the best of therapy has to offer and use that to keep you up to date in your learning.

Bonus 11: Solution focused hypnotherapists trust the quality of their training.  Your training is independently assessed, has a nationally recognised qualification and gives you the opportunity to go on to train for the most advanced approved hypnotherapy level training in the UK.  CPHT is highly respected within the hypnotherapy community and the founder, David Newton, has been interviewed for Radio 4 among others and spoken at the largest hypnotherapy conference in the UK.

Hypnotherapy training – is it for you ?

Why I became a Hypnotherapist and why hypnotherapy training is for you

hypnotherapy training is it for you

Hi, I’m Gary Johannes and I’m the senior lecturer here at CPHT  Nottingham and the East of England. But I’ve not always been a hypnotherapist – in fact just like many of my students I’ve had a varied career. I went on the hypnotherapist to get more personal development, to get business development so I could be better at my then job. However, I fell in love with being a hypnotherapist. So much so I built a busy practice of my own and now I’m also a lecturer for the gold standard hypnotherapy school CPHT.

So if you’re ready to start a new career, to upskill in your current roll or just want to have the freedom that comes with the lifestyle you really want, then this course is for you.

The best thing about being a hypnotherapist for me when I started was the ability to help so many different people whether for anxiety in everyday life or doing presentation within their jobs.

The other thing for me it gave me freedom to live the lifestyle I wanted. So I was in control of my destiny, I was in control of how many hours I worked and when I worked. I could choose whether I wanted time off or whether I wanted to work every hour available. It is my choice, I’m in charge of my destiny, I felt good about that and I was able to help people feel good about themselves. So it was the freedom that I really enjoyed.

So who comes on our course?

We get such a wide variety of different types of people coming on our course. From different aspects of life, we get people who are working full time and want to change their careers, they want to free up some time, get of the hamster wheel of corporate life.

We get people who are already qualified in the therapy or medical world, whether that be in the nhs like a nurse or someone working as a counselor or maybe a body worker like a masseur or chiropractor and want to add more tools to help more people. We get people who have been a fulltime parent and want to get back into the work place but also want to help people.

So we get all walks of life. We get people who want to be partime we get people who want to be fulltime, but most of all when they come on the course they want to see how they can fit the course around their busy lives and get the qualification they want and to start their new careers.

And our course is perfect for that!

One of the big questions I get ask on a regular basis is, how do I fit in all the course work around our everyday lives? Over the years we’ve been running hypnotherapy courses here we’ve had all sorts of people, we’ve had people working fulltime employment, mums’ children (even nursing mums) people working away from home and people who have just come back into the work place after being a parent for many many years. And they have all noticed how easy it is, how flexible it is to fit around their day to day lives.

What also sets us apart is that we are solution focused. That means we work with people to get the best outc0me for them, but its future paced, we also use the most clinically proven techniques and the most modern neuroscience research to back up everything we do so we know we are always at the forefront of the hypnotherapy world.

Being A Clinical Hypnotherapist Is A Highly Rewarding Career

Hypnotherapy Training Courses – Why I chose Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

I particularly look forward to Fridays as do most of the general population, but probably for very different reasons! For me, it’s an opportunity to reflect back on the all people I have seen throughout the week, and how I am able to aid them on their journey as my hypnotherapist once aided me.

It wasn’t very long ago that I too couldn’t wait until Friday, almost delirious that the week was finally over, looking forward to spending time with family and friends over the weekend.  But then that feeling of dread slowly creeping over as Sunday afternoon quickly began to turn into Sunday evening. desperately clinging on to the last few hours of freedom until the weekly grind replayed once more, and missing out on a good night’s sleep fretting over the doom that is Monday Morning!!  Not a good start to the week; waking up tired and disgruntled.

It dawned upon me, although there wasn’t technically anything ‘wrong’ with my life, I felt, well rather ‘bleurgh’, flat and discontented. Surely our jobs should be a positive existence, a place in which we spend most of our time with people we are happy to surround ourselves with? Sadly, for many of us this is just not the case, according to some recent research conducted by the London School of Business and Finance a staggering forty-seven percent of the professional population want to change their jobs. The poll hoped for increased salary prospects, better work-life balance and improved job satisfaction.

Hypnotherapy Training Courses

I took my concerns of entrapment and to an extent guilt and ingratitude (after all I had a roof over my head and a healthy family didn’t I?) to a recommended hypnotherapist in Peterborough, I always thoroughly enjoyed my own hypnotherapy sessions and was amazed and intrigued by the changes I had made in my life and most importantly the understanding I took away stayed with me.

As my interest peaked I decided the time was right and contacted my hypnotherapist, he suggested registering on the CPHT HPD diploma Hypnotherapy Training course, they offered the best qualification.

I chose the successful CPHT in particular for the depth of knowledge passed down to their students, they have pioneered the way for modern science based clinical hypnotherapy.

Their Hypnotherapy training courses are designed to conveniently ‘slot’ into life. I trained for one weekend per month for ten months, allowing me work throughout the duration of the course, this worked surprisingly well, and fitted quite nicely into work, home and a young family.

I enjoyed every aspect of the CPHT course so much so that just over a year later I gleefully welcome Mondays and aiding my clients at my own practice.

Being a clinical hypnotherapist is a decidedly rewarding career, my job to assist and support my clients to bring about desired change is exceptionally fulfilling.
